Effective September 30, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Primevault Tax Co. website and client portal. Our engagement letter for your tax return or other services governs the services themselves.

Your account

Keep your password private and use two-step sign-in if you can. Tell us right away if you think someone else used your account.
Upload only documents that belong to you or that you have permission to share.
Information in the portal is provided for your convenience. Your filed return and official notices from tax agencies are the final record.

Electronic signatures

When a form needs your signature (for example, IRS Form 8879), we send you a secure link from our tax software provider. Signing through that link is your electronic signature on the form.

SMS Terms

Program: Primevault Tax Co. client account notifications.

What you'll get: texts about your account and tax return, such as document requests, signature reminders, status updates, and replies from your preparer. We don't send marketing texts.

How you sign up: by checking the text-updates box when you create your account or in your portal settings, or by telling our office you'd like texts.

Frequency: varies by your activity, usually a few messages during tax season.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any service.

Opt out: reply STOP to any text. You'll get one confirmation and no further texts. Reply START to sign up again.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your mobile number.

Acceptable use

Don't try to access other people's accounts, interfere with the website, or upload harmful files. We may suspend accounts that put other clients' information at risk.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
